Lovely build quality but disappointing. The picture and description are strangely misleading due to the reflections etc. The cable tidy is a solid structure for threading cables through but unless they are short, there is still a jungle on display as the unit is so open plan. The middle shelf is only 25cm deep so the components on it will overhang (particularly if leads do not fit alongside the panel at the back). The middle shelf also came loose of it's fittings - fixed with superglue but this shouldn't have been necessary. Not bad enough to return, but I was disappointed.
BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Easy to assemble. High gloss looks classy. Takes my 37"lcd TV no problem. Be careful not to scratch with screwdriver though as you put it together.
